Sunday July 26th 2009 ~ Annual LEG IT Midlands West Trotting Races (plus Adult & Children’s Gymkhana) at The Yews Farm, Seighford by kind permission of Mr and Mrs F C Waterfall. A great fun day with our ponies. For more information please telephone Diane Key 01785 822723.

14th August ~ Fell Pony Logging Demonstration at Comer Wood, Dudmaston Hall, Shropshire. This event is being organized by Richard and Kelly Channing with the kind permission of the National Trust. The event will commence at 11.00 pm meeting at the Hall with tea and biscuits followed by the logging demonstration where 'Buster' the Channing Family's versatile Fell will demonstrate his logging duties. This will then be followed by lunch - please bring your own lunch. Afterwards the National Trust is allowing the group to visit the gardens. If anyone requires a lift to watch the demonstration, the Channing's have kindly provided transport to the site. Please bring out door clothing. There will be no charge for this event but donations can be given on the day to the National Trust.

29th August Pleasure Ride at Burwarton Park, Bridgnorth Shropshire.
An escorted ride through one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Shropshire - not to be missed. Organized by Lesley Weston with kind permission from Lord Boyne. If you would like to take part on the ride please let Diane know - telephone 01785 822723. There will be a nominal charge for the ride; all riders taking part will be receive a commemorative rosette. Own insurance is strongly recommended. Please bring own lunch. Meeting arrangements will be available nearer to the event as this depends on weather. It is envisaged that the ride will be for about two hours to suit all abilities.
